- I live and work in Des Moines. My friends think I'm opinionated. I've also been told I have an odd sense of humor and a strange way of looking at the world. Well - all the better to write a blog. Most recently, I have started clowning as a hobby. As a newly minted “Joey,” I am still learning the ropes - working on my magic tricks, gags and balloon twisting. Clowning adds yet another dimension – a wacky and fun one - to my already busy life.
